Quality, originality, and authenticity: Sniester launched in 2014 as an ode to truly great alternative acts. With over 80 bands at nine venues, Sniester will tear through The Hague’s Pop District for two days. Featuring everything that rocks, grinds, and rattles, from emerging to established, local to international, and from electronic indie to ripping guitars.<\/p>\n

Sniester has since become a fixture on the Dutch festival calendar, and the third weekend of May guarantees two explosive festival days of alternative music! We’ll conclude the festival weekend on Sunday with Sniester Junior, the free festival day for kids full of mischief!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Directions, public transport, and parking<\/h2>\n

Sniester takes place the third weekend of May in The Hague’s Pop District, the musical heart of The Hague’s city center. All performances are within walking distance of the Grote Markt. Our festival is easily accessible by public transport, on foot and by bike!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Public Transport<\/h3>\n

From The Hague Central Station<\/strong>, take tram 2, 3, 4, or 6 towards the city center. Get off at the Grote Markt stop, right in the heart of the Pop District!<\/p>\n

From The Hague Hollands Spoor station<\/strong>, take tram 1, 9, or 16 to the Centrum stop, then walk for a few minutes along Grote Marktstraat until you hear the music.<\/p>\n

Trams<\/strong> run until around 1:00 AM, after which night buses<\/strong> are available. Night trains<\/strong> run hourly from The Hague Hollands Spoor to Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Leiden, Rotterdam, Delft, and Utrecht. Noise measurements<\/h2>\n

We want everyone to have a fantastic Sniester weekend: visitors and residents alike. That’s why we regularly conduct noise measurements during our festival.<\/p>\n

During the Sniester weekend, all active noise measurements are conducted by Event Acoustics. In case of any disturbance, they are happy to assist you.
